Greetings from Cape Town. Great forum, thanks all. My K2500S has 64mb. I rarely use much of it at one time.

Hello from Paris,

128 Mb in my K2600X

128 Mb in my K2500X. Though long samples always end corrupted after a while (some digital sizzlings added). And they can't be saved on HD without being corrupted. Bad RAM probably. I have to use SMDI (Peak 3.1) to load the K2500X with long samples. Sad So now my daughter is using it to learn the piano. Grin

Of course not such a problem with the K2600X, although it seems to have its issues when it comes to saving (I need to test it more extensively to reproduce a misbehaviour I noticed and be more explicit).

Great forum!

A lowly 2MB on my K2000.  I will upgrade it to 64MB as soon as I get off my lazy @$$...!

Since 2MB wasn't an option in the poll, I didn't answer there.

From what I've read, yes.  I have a V3 (3.54J to be exact...yes, another upgrade I need to make...!) with the sampling option.  I think it was built in 1996 or so.  I don't think the previous owner made any upgrades, and if memory serves, I read somewhere (maybe a history of Kurz?) that this specific version of rthe K2k (with the "V3" on the case) came with a default 2MB of ram.

I've got 64mb in my k2000r v.1.3C with a 512mb HD and a 100mb zip drive.   I've got no sampling option, pram or extra roms.

I'd love to see some interesting sample based material in the oscillators section if the quality is anything like the synth based patches.

Old thread, but figured why not.
128M in my K2500XS.
I bought the Sweetwater Piano CD, and several others, so I figured it would be worth it.

Just got a K2000R off of eBay. It will have 64MB of RAM straight away. Then it is time to find P/RAM and other things...
