Wroclaw, Poland, 26 years old,two Kurzweil machines: SP2X and K2661. I'm going to buy PC3X in January. I had a lot of keyboards (analogs/digital), rack modules, software instruments, but nothing sounds so good like Kurzweil machines! My new experience, and I think I will stay with Kurzweil instruments.

Heh Rudee, I always for some reason thought you were from Greece. Got you confused with some else.

Welcome btw.  Smiley

The PC3 will round out your gear nicely. There is nothing like having 128 voices of Kurzweil polyphony at your finger tips with there sound.

Hi guys,

I'm from France, in a small village called 'Roche-Blanche'...
It's not far from the atlantic coast.

I'm using Kurzweil since 1999, i started with a K2000VP.
I still like a lot the 2000, it's got good 'vibes' and this is where it all really started !
Actually i have a PC3 and a full K2600Xs.....and yes, i'm panicking !!! LOL !

Regards,  Cool

Hi all,

I'm from Munich, Germany.

Proud part-time owner of a PC3 for more than year now. Unfortunately, however, my son took it to the rehearsal room of his band this summer and I haven't seen it ever since. So I was "forced" to buy him a Nord Electro for Christmas hoping to get the PC3 back this weekend. If everything works out as planned, I am looking forward to really dig into VAST soon.

Welcome to you all to the Mastering VAST Forum.

We hope you enjoy the scenery around here along with all the delightful noises.
For those of you looking to make your first post - this thread is nice place to do it.  Smiley

I can tell you a little story about that particular sound Michoo and the "War Of Worlds" PROGRAM. They were both combined with a few other sounds in a SETUP to emulate that old 50's SciFi in a modern day take. But alas, the PC3's bugs came to town... no SETUP's for APACHE.

Hello from Boston to Everyone,

PC3 owner here, and will have to make a decision whether to sell it or my soul to purchase the K3K Rack when Dave Weiser announces it.  Is it too early to contact the distributor?  : )

I'm very appreciative of the generous and classy guides and tutorials found on this site.

Hi there,

another guy from Germany (can't believe I'm only the second in this thread). I live in Cologne and I'm a frickin' genius! ... when it comes to procrastinating important work by tinkering with my synths  Shocked

Bought my K2500R only a few months ago and I am really only beginning to explore its depths.

1st post and greetings from Belgium!!

Great to find a forum about sound design on the Kurzweil. I just ordered a PC361 from Thomann and this will be my first Kurzweil. I heard a lot of good things about the sounds, so I'm very excited.

I do a lot of sound design for eg. Access and a buss load of softsynths, so I can't wait to get my hands on VAST !!

Peter.
