I've just been playing around with
Moose Attack,
and I think its a must buy for PC3 owners. There is enough sounds in here to satisfy the fussiest sound buyer.

Lots of VA sounds and digital emulations. Which I will run through shortly.
But a word of warning -
you must ride the volume slider.
The volumes are extremely hot. In Program Mode I had the volume slider at around the 3rd dot from the top.. say 3/4 the way up.
For SETUP Mode I had the volume slider riding around 4th dot from the bottom - that is 1/4 the way up.
Okay.. the juicy bits..
PROGRAM Mode:PolyBrass - big and fat and all VA... you are going to use this a lot.
Whistlers - there is a noise dsp used in this which I could not help but remove. Think whistling intro to the X-Files and you have this sound in your head !
Silent Hell - left split is very 'Wavestation' sounding.. very deep pitched down sounds.
Formant Mod2 - great use of ring modulation to form a nice vocal sounding formant.
Hard Solo - this sound is not going to make you popular with the guitarist in your band. Ride the modulation for the hard sync.
JunoBass - easy to describe, simply one of the best synth bass sounds around on the PC3.
LinearArithmetic - great DX7 type of bell/vox sound.
FunBass - another excellent chunky PWM/SAW bass.
GliderRider - a fat saw solo synth lead with verb and delay. No mistaking its presence. Great stuff.
The beast - I know someone is going to think this is The Cars "Lets Go" sync sound... you are close though !
Yazoo - now you can be Vince Clarke. Excellent emulation.
SendMeAnAngel - another great emulation of the song "Send Me an Angel" by Aussie 80's outfit Real Life. I love this one.
Well done Barb !!
